Dogs and Cats We Met While City Walking China

Here are some of the fine hounds and felines we met while city walking in China, Hong Kong and Macau, starting with our very favourite, possibly the ugliest dog we have ever seen.

  2. Yes, most dogs were much loved and very well trained. There were a few strays and manky village dogs. The only real disturbing thing is some folks tie their cats up, not sure why. The cats weren't impressed.

  3. Some of these pictures make me smile yet feel sad at the same time - like the stray cat in the bin. And when cats take over the world the humans of China better watch out as they'll all be on leads. LOL. And is that tortoise a dog wearing a tortoise coat?

  5. I've been wondering why Alison keeps frothing at the mouth...

The doggy didn't break the skin so it's all good. Our friend in Macau was attacked by a mongel and had to get treated for rabies, not fun! Lots of needles and they can't close the wound due to infection so he had to go to hospital every day to get it cleaned. Eeesh.
