Dogs and Cats We Met While City Walking China

The Hounds of Marrickville Metro 2011

This very friendly boxer is wearing the cone of shame. Her owner tells us she ate a pair of socks and is full of stitches from the vet.

Attention All Dogs...

A sign requesting that dogs don't poo or wee in this curbside garden in Enmore. It will never work, dogs never wear their reading glasses when going walkies.

Cats and Dogs

Local identity Pia the staffy who hangs out at Koru Framing Studio on Enmore Road. Pia is everybody's best friend and was known for sneaking off into the Cat Protection Society Op Shop a couple of doors down. The Cat Protection shop has moved down the road but owner takes her down for a visit.

A doggy I met in Emnore, he's not being barky or bitey, he's freaking out because owner is the food coop buying lentils and, excuse the swear words, fresh vegetables... oh for the love of Chub...

This very friendly spaniel cross is so excited to see me he does the doggy twist and gets a leg caught in his leash. He's outside King Furniture, warning me not to by the Delta because it's really not a comfy couch and makes the loungeroom feel like a waiting room. I should have listened...
